1. Using MonsterCam
MonsterCam is a playful camera and monster collecting experience. The app lets users take photos, catch monsters hiding in them, collect cards, and manage a Dex.
MonsterCam is provided for personal, non-commercial entertainment use. You are responsible for how you use the app and for following these Terms.
MonsterCam is operated by Mekasmith, Co., Ltd., located at Aoyama Palacio Tower, Level 11, 3-6-7 Kita-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo, 107-0061, Japan.
2. Eligibility and guardians
MonsterCam is intended for users 13 and older. If you are under the age required to consent to these Terms in your location, you may use MonsterCam only with permission and involvement from a parent or legal guardian.
Parents and guardians are responsible for the activity of minors who use MonsterCam through their device, account, or payment method.
3. Accounts
Some MonsterCam features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep login credentials secure, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may request account deletion by emailing support@getmonstercam.com or visiting /delete-account/. We may verify account ownership before completing a deletion request.
4. Captures, credits, and purchases
MonsterCam may use capture credits, cooldowns, or similar gameplay limits. Credits are digital app features, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred outside MonsterCam unless required by law.
If paid credit packs or other purchases are offered, purchases are processed by the applicable app store or payment provider. Refunds, billing issues, and purchase history may be handled under that provider’s rules.
We may adjust gameplay balancing, monster availability, rarity rates, credit amounts, cooldowns, and similar app mechanics over time.
5. Photos and user content
You keep ownership of photos and content you submit. By submitting a photo, you grant MonsterCam a limited license to process it, choose a monster, store the resulting capture, operate safety systems, and provide the app.
You agree not to submit photos or content that:
- invades another person’s privacy or includes someone without appropriate permission;
- contains nudity, sexual content, harassment, hate, threats, self-harm, illegal activity, or graphic violence;
- shows private or sensitive spaces where people reasonably expect privacy;
- infringes intellectual property or other rights; or
- attempts to abuse, reverse engineer, or cheat MonsterCam systems.
6. Capture results
MonsterCam capture results may be inaccurate, unexpected, delayed, unavailable, repeated, or visually imperfect.
MonsterCam does not guarantee that any specific monster, rarity, image style, or capture result will appear from a submitted photo.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use MonsterCam for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or unsafe purposes;
- attempt to access another user’s account, captures, or private data;
- interfere with MonsterCam servers, APIs, security systems, or rate limits;
- use bots, scripts, or automated tools to create captures or farm credits; or
- copy, resell, or exploit MonsterCam except as allowed by these Terms.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information. By using MonsterCam, you also agree to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
9. MonsterCam intellectual property
MonsterCam, the app design, game systems, characters, monster names, branding, website, software, and related materials are owned by Mekasmith, Co., Ltd. or its licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of MonsterCam intellectual property.
10. Availability and changes
MonsterCam may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time. We may update the app, website, Terms, Privacy Policy, gameplay systems, supported devices, or service providers as needed.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for other users, abused the service, or used MonsterCam unlawfully. You may stop using MonsterCam at any time and may request account deletion.
12. Disclaimers and limits
MonsterCam is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Mekasmith, Co., Ltd. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or service interruptions.
